Funny
Life is busy for me right now, which is when I look for all things funny. We're watching Chuck on TV, and I'm reading Diary of a Wimpy Kid. And I'm laughing out loud, even though this book was written for a nine or ten year-old, which I'm decidedly not. I highly recommend this one, no matter your age.
How about you? What's the funniest book you've ever read?

Anything by Douglas Adams, although the Hitchhiker's Guide books are the best.
ReplyDeleteAlso love James Thurber--I grew up reading him.
My eleven year old has read all the Wimpy Kid books and we both enjoyed them so much. It brings me back to a time I might not want to remember with great detail, but a time I can honestly laugh about now!
ReplyDeleteCheers for the recommendations, Deb!
ReplyDeleteNathalie: both my kids love the Wimpy kids books, and I only just started reading. Book 6 is out in November, so I should be caught up by then :-)
My boys love the Wimpy Kid books. My personal funniest has to be a Christopher Moore but hard to pin that title on just one.
