All I Want For Christmas Is... Socks
At least, that's what this Hopscotch Chalk Talk post says an eight year-old had on the wish list. The article talks about how there are no real hot toys this season, so the wish lists are sort of been-there-done-that.
Maybe it's a sign we have too much? What do you think?
I think socks are a great gift. And a book's good, too.

I just received 2 new pairs of socks from some friends yesterday. 1 pair of Christmas socks (with snowmen) and 1 pair of really soft ones that look like they're made out of Dippin' Dots. I was thrilled.

ReplyDeleteI totally believe that we have too much. I made Owen dump out half his toys before even considering shopping for Christmas. And you know what? He did it without complaining and seems really relieved to be able to find the stuff he does want to play with.
